Shaun’s selections

Back into the win column last week primarily thanks to 40 points from Tyler Lockett. I am riding a few Seahawks again this week, lets go……

QB – Kyler Murray, $7,000 – So he may have been bumped back down to Earth a little last week, but even a 3 INT outing resulted in 24.7 pts for the young signal caller. He has rushed for a touchdown in every contest so far to open up the young season and it wouldn’t be a shock to see that streak continue. With a bucket full of completions to DeAndre Hopkins thrown in for good measure, I’m feeling optimistic for big points here.

RB – Alvin Kamara, $8,000- Simply put he is the Saints offence. Add to that no Michael Thomas, or Jared Cook and there is every chance he exceeds his 13 receptions from a week ago. He is averging just shy of 5 yards per carry on the season so it wouldn’t hurt the Saints to get him involved even more in the ground game. Hell, if he can play quarterback then why not line him up there as well? He is certainly better than Taysom Hill!

RB – Darrell Henderson $5,800 – Given lead back duties last week, Henderson responded. Cam Akers is officially out of this weeks matchup again so expect more of the same distribution in the backfield from the Rams. They also have the Giants on tap which is a favourable match up as they are inside the top 10 of allowing the most draftkings points to running back through 3 weeks of the season.

WR – DK Metcalf- Metcalf is off to a flyer in 2020 and minus his boneheaded play last week would have had another touchdown to his name also. He has topped 90 yards and scored a touchdown in each contest thus far as he has taken the role of deep threat in a Seattle offence being marshalled by early season MVP, Russell Wilson. The Dolphins couldn’t contain the Bills 1-2 punch of Diggs and Brown a fortnight ago, the 1-2 punch in Seattle is even more mighty.

WR – Jarvis Landry – All the talk is about the Browns running game, but beating the Cowboys through the air is the way forward. That leads me to Jarvis Landry whom is having a quiet year so far in the Browns heavy run scheme. When the ball is thrown his way however he has secured 12 of 13 targets with several coming off of Baker Mayfield bootlegs. I expect a heavy dose of play action from the Browns this week in what could be a high scoring affair.

WR – Andy Isabella $4,500 – Isabella took his opportunity with Christian Kirk out of the lineup last week catching all 4 targets and scoring 2 touchdowns. Even if Kirk does suit up in this one I expect Isabella to remain the teams 2nd/3rd option in the passing game. His speed means he carries big play potential and in an offence where Hopkins will get so much attention, that could open up opportunities. The 2nd year player is this weeks “gamble” selection but 1 I have a fair degree of confidence in.

TE – Greg Olsen, $4,100 – The old tight end looks better every week in a Seahawks jersey and gets a matchup against a Dolphins side in the bottom 7 of most passing categories defensively. Its an offence that is firing on all cylinders and with Olsen logging over 70% of the tight end snaps I’m hopefully of a TD this weekend.

FLEX – Darren Waller $5,200- Double tight end as with the remaining budget I pick up the Raiders favourite target in Waller. Yes he was kept quiet last week, but that’s what Bill Belichick does, take away your best option. Last time that Waller played at home he had 12 grabs. I don’t quite expect that kind of volume but I expect he will retake his place as the primary weapon in the Raiders attack.

DST – Tampa Bay Buccaneers $3,400 – This Todd Bowles defence has been playing some good football and confusing opposing quarterbacks. They get a rookie to go up against this week so expect more disguised coverages and confusion leading to turnovers.

Good luck if you are playing in week number 4. Catch me tomorrow on the Full10 Yards NFL podcast where we will be reviewing all of the action.
